11 September 2012 "Moving Tribute" Flag Run

On September 11th I  was part of the Team RWB “moving tribute” at West Point New York in memory of the victims of the 9/11 attacks on this country. All day long teams of runners kept Old Glory starting at 6 AM and going until the colors went down at 5 PM.

Here is a picture I capture from my Go Pro camera while I was running with the Flag  at West Point.

Here is a link to the Team RWB Facebook page which captured the meaning of the day with this post and picture:

125 cadets, Soldiers and family members participated in today's "Moving Tribute" at West Point---where 7 teams worked together to keep American flags moving from 6 am until 5 pm. The event finished at the flag pole where the group watched the American flag lowered from half-staff, to the top and then to the ground. Pictured here are about 50 of the participants in the day's tribute.

IT’S OUR TURN!
